    This year, the CASIC Regulations Conference will gather experts in cosmetic regulations in order to discuss the present and future regulations challenges in Latin America.

    This two hour conference will take place at in-cosmetics Latin America, on the 19 September 2019, from 14:00 to 16:00 and is completely FREE to attend.

    Simultaneous translations will be provided in English, Spanish and Portuguese

    The cosmetic industry in Latin America has grown exponentially in recent years. Latin America is the 4th market worldwide behind Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe and the United States. Future opportunities are promising and CASIC (Cosmetics Industry Council and Latin America Personal Hygiene Home Care Industry) has worked closely with the Health and Commercial Authorities, making progress towards a clear convergence in international best regulatory practices. This has opened doors to the world, and today Latin American cosmetic products are available in many parts of the planet.

    To maintain these growth rates in a sustainable way, it is important that regulatory frameworks accompany technological and innovation advances, as well as new consumer needs, modernizing and keeping up to date in relation to progress in reference regions, guaranteeing always consumer safety.
