The new law of biodiversity in Brazil brought as main promise the bureaucratic disentanglement of research and innovation with raw materials of the Brazilian biodiversity. The Law 13123/15 came into force about a year and a half ago and still brings a lot of doubts and insecurity to the users.

In the cosmetic industry, we know that natural assets have great potential for use, especially Brazilian assets. In addition to making possible new discoveries, these assets have a very interesting marketing appeal, not only for the Brazilian consumer, but also for the international market.

The objective of this conference will be to demystify the obstacles of the access legislation and the CGen, as well as to show the opportunities that the new law offers to the users.
